About Nidhivan
Nidhivan is a sacred site in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, believed to be the divine playground of Lord Krishna, where he performs the Raas Leela with Radha and the Gopis every night. This mystical place is characterized by its dense forest of Tulsi plants, unique twisted trees, and serene atmosphere.
History of Nidhivan
Nidhivan's history dates back over 5,000 years, making it one of the holiest places in Hindu mythology. It's believed that Lord Krishna spent his childhood and performed divine leelas (pastimes) in this forest with Radha and the Gopis. The site is also associated with the appearance of the Banke Bihari idol, a form of Lord Krishna, which was worshipped in Nidhivan before being moved to the Banke Bihari Temple.
