Mathura is a city and the administrative headquarters of Mathura district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
In Hinduism, the birthplace of Krishna, one of the main deities in that religion, is believed to be located in Mathura at the Krishna Janmasthan Temple Complex. It is one of the Sapta Puri, the seven cities considered holy by Hindus, also called Mokshyadayni Tirth. The Kesava Deo Temple was built in ancient times on the site of Krishna's birthplace (an underground prison). Mathura was the capital of the kingdom of Surasena, ruled by Kamsa, the maternal uncle of Krishna. Mathura is part of the Krishna circuit (Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Govardhan, Kurukshetra, Dwarka and Bhalka). Krishna Janmashtami is grandly celebrated in Mathura every year.

DAY 2
● Begin your day with a visit to the famous Banke Bihari Ji Temple, known for its beautiful idol of Lord Krishna.
● Proceed to Barsana, the birthplace of Radha Rani, the eternal consort of Lord Krishna.
● Visit the Radha Rani Temple in Barsana, also known as the Shriji Temple, Ladli Ji and witness the enthusiasm and devotion of the devotees

● Proceed to Nandgaon, the village where Lord Krishna spent his early childhood.
● Visit the Nand Bhavan Temple and soak in the serene and spiritual ambiance.
● Explore the nearby areas associated with Lord Krishna's childhood, such as Yashoda Kund and Sunheri
Kothi.
● Drive to mathura and drop.
